It's been a while...ten days!
What have we been upto? Exploring the city, attending many many birthday parties, and living life to the fullest possible with an almost 15 month old.
Last weekend, we attended a birthday party held in the zoo. I don't mean to be sarcastic or funny, but it was actually a very nicely arranged party (in a hall) in the local zoo here. We had fun!
After the party on our way out, we spotted a lonely peacock wandering around. Let's call him Percy. Percy the Peacock. Percy had Isabelle fascinated and we followed him around. It was funny. If you have ever run behind chickens like I have in my childhood, you would find it funny too. We ran behind him, we slinked, we spied and we pointed. He ran, he slinked, he pecked and he stared. Only more elegantly than a chicken.
Our antics apparently attracted some attention and before we knew it, Percy had other followers apart from Isabelle and I. Oh, he wasn't bothered. And since there weren't any peahens around, Percy didn't even bother to fan out his tail (feathers?)...
Percy was pretty.
We finally let Percy alone since he seemed to be getting a tad agitated with all the following around. But Percy was pretty, wasn't he?
